Dr. Timothy Cheung, DMD

Dentist

After returning to Vancouver in 2011 from dentistry training in the east coast, Dr. Cheung worked for several years in Vancouver and Burnaby. He has enjoyed serving the North Delta and Surrey communities since 2015, and when Dr. Weber asked him if he wanted to team up in 2017, he jumped at the opportunity to continue providing dental care in this pleasant neighborhood.

Dr. Cheung graduated from UBC in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology and Therapeutics. He was one of only ten out-of-province applicants that year who was accepted to receive his dentistry training at McGill University, graduating in 2010. He spent the next year completing a hospital-based general practice residency program at New York Hospital Queens, where he earned the Dr. Benjamin S. Recant Award for Clinical Excellence in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 2011.

He is a member of the BC Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, and American Association of Implant Dentistry
In his free time, Dr. Cheung loves reading, running, hiking, and traveling with his wife, Kanitha. He also loves to watch movies, and keeps a close eye on the Vancouver Canucks.

I have three main parts to my life: my family, my patients and the practice of dentistry, and sports and fitness. Firstly, my family is everything to me. My beautiful wife of forty years, Rosemarie, has been a rock that I could always rely on as a life partner and, thank God, also ran the business end of our practice. Our daughter, Katherine, is the shining star of our lives and is married to Nate Mundy, and is further building her career at Price Waterhouse Cooper Consultants.

I have been in practice for 42 years and our main goal has always been to make people happy. We have always strived for excellence to give our patients the best quality treatment and the best value for their money that we possibly can. This has been and always will be our guiding light.

For recreation, Rosemarie and I have always been involved in sports and fitness. I have played many sports including basketball, baseball, soccer, hockey, and tennis. Even though we are slightly older now, we still ski regularly and play decent golf, which is our present passion. We also spend regular time in the gym staying fit. I feel this speaks to our desire to still strive to get better at all times. Here’s to a healthy and happy life for us all!
